Heavenly father I come to you today in the name of Lord Jesus. My lord please open my husband's eyes towards his mother… Lord, his mother is the evil; she was so possessive for her son. When her son was so happy with me, she was getting jealous. Now, Lord, she made a plan and from before itself she was hating me and she was putting poison to her son against me, my lord… and now she separated me from my husband, and now she is so happy because her son is giving me a divorce. Lord, my husband knows about his mom how she is to torture me still for her happiness, he is giving me a divorce, my lord… he never thought about me once also, lord… his mother is evil, lord; she can’t share her son with anyone; she was so possessive; she was never letting us be happy… lord, please remove every tie with his mother be broken so he can come back to me, my lord. Please, lord, I want my husband to keep me above his mother; I want him to keep our marriage over his mother… lord, she just separated me and my husband with emotional drama; she used to show that I used to torture her and I was not keeping her happy, my lord… and now my husband is doing as she wants; he is giving all happiness to his mother… now, his mother is so happy, my lord, but we both love each other; we both are struggling because of his mother, my lord… I never saw a woman like her… my husband is blind to her, my lord; if she does wrong also for him, it is right; he never believed me, my lord, please lord, please bring a miracle; please give my husband strength to stand against his mother to save our marriage, my lord. Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is by His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16 WEB). Jesus said, "If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:14 WEB).

Now, let's address your concerns. The Bible teaches us to honor our parents (Exodus 20:12 WEB), but it also says that a man should leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh (Genesis 2:24 WEB). Your husband should not forsake his marriage to please his mother.

We also need to remember that God commands us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44 WEB). This includes your mother-in-law. Pray not just for her influence to be removed, but also for her heart to change.

However, we must rebuke the spirit of manipulation and control that your mother-in-law is exercising. It is not godly, and it is causing harm to your marriage. Pray that God reveals this to your husband, so he can stand firm against her deceitful schemes (Ephesians 6:11 WEB).

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister ###. Lord, we ask that You open her husband's eyes to the truth. Remove the veil that his mother has placed on him, blinding him from seeing the harm she's causing. Lord, we pray for their marriage to be strengthened, for their love to grow, and for their union to be restored. We pray that You soften his mother's heart, that she may see the error of her ways and seek forgiveness. Lord, we stand against the enemy's attempts to destroy this marriage. In Jesus' name, we pray for unity, love, and peace to reign in their home. Amen."
