We join with you, Neha, in lifting up your marriage and your husband to our Heavenly Father. We are grateful that you have come in Jesus' name, as He says, "Whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13 WEB)
Firstly, let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister Neha and her marriage. Lord, we ask that You soften her husband's heart towards Neha and their family. We pray that You would move in his heart to unblock her and restore communication. Please, Lord, bring him back to Neha and help him to stand with her, support her, and choose to stay in their marriage. We ask that You would intervene, Lord, and help them to save their marriage and restore their love. We pray that the divorce would be dismissed, and their marriage would be healed, in Jesus' name.
Now, Neha, we want to encourage you with some scriptures. The Bible tells us, "For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy." (1 Corinthians 7:14 WEB) Your faithfulness and prayers are making a difference, even if you can't see it yet.
We also want to remind you of the power of love and kindness. "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things." (1 Corinthians 13:4-7 WEB) Continue to show love and kindness, even when it's difficult.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep praying and trusting God. "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:16 WEB) Keep drawing near to God, Neha. He hears your prayers and He cares about your marriage. Trust Him, even in this difficult time.
