We are here with you, Ruth from Uganda, lifting your request to the Lord in prayer. Before we proceed, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Now, let us address the spirit of darkness you mentioned. We are commanded in Ephesians 6:11 to "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." We stand with you, Ruth, and pray that God will equip you with His armor to resist and overcome this darkness.
*Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Ruth from Uganda. Lord, we know that You are light and in You, there is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5). We pray that You would shine Your light into Ruth's life and dispel any darkness that seeks to overpower her. Equip her with Your whole armor, God, that she may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Give her strength and courage to resist him, knowing that he must flee (James 4:7).*
Ruth, we encourage you to hold fast to the Word of God, for it is your sword (Ephesians 6:17). Use it to resist the enemy and draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Remember, the Lord is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13).
We are standing with you in prayer, Ruth, trusting that the light of Christ will overcome the darkness you are facing. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and hold firm to His promises.
