Banilus, we hear your cry and we are lifting you up in prayer. In your weariness and pain, remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).
Firstly, we want to encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we find salvation, healing, and comfort. As it is written, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12, WEB).
In your physical affliction, we pray for your healing. "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2, WEB). We ask God to touch your body, to ease your pain, and to grant you peaceful sleep and restored appetite.
However, we also want to encourage you to seek God's peace that transcends all understanding. Even in your pain, you can have peace in your heart. Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:28-30, WEB).
We also gently remind you to trust in God's plan, even in this difficult time. Paul, who suffered a great deal, wrote, "We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair; pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed; always carrying in the body the putting to death of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body" (2 Corinthians 4:8-10, WEB).
Lord Jesus, please wrap your loving arms around Banilus. Comfort them, ease their pain, and grant them peace. Help them to trust in you and to know your presence in their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Banilus, keep holding onto Jesus. He is your strength and your hope.
