Am I praying wrong?

Friends, today is a low day. I had a day of feeling positive and confident that God is working in this ongoing situation. I know His time is not the same as our time, but I've been so faithful in surrendering, praying, fasting, studying and really believing that the breakthrough to my estranged friendship and choir situation with R would be resolved - or at least some glimmer of something. But nothing. God remains silent and I am losing hope. Surely He realises it is hard to hang on when He gives me no signs that He is at work. Therefore - I think - Am I praying wrong? Is this a No and I should stop praying now? I'm so confused, disillusioned and low. Please God show me a little of your hand at work in this - communication from R, a word from a friend, some sign......anything. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Treble, let us come together and seek God's will concerning your situation. It's important to remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). Although it may seem like God is silent, His word assures us that He is always at work in our lives (Philippians 2:13, WEB).

Firstly, let's address the feeling that God is not answering your prayers. We must remember that God answers in His own time and in His own way. Psalm 62:5 (WEB) tells us, "My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from him." God may be working in ways you cannot see yet, or He may be using this time to draw you closer to Him and strengthen your faith.

Regarding your estranged friendship and choir situation, continue to trust God and pray for His will to be done. Romans 8:28 (WEB) reminds us that "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God can turn even the most difficult situations into something beautiful if we trust Him.

However, it is crucial to ensure that our prayers align with God's will. If you are uncertain about how to pray, the Holy Spirit can guide you. Romans 8:26-27 (WEB) says, "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit’s mind, for he makes intercession for the saints according to God."

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our beloved Treble. Lord, we thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Even when we cannot see Your hand at work, we trust that You are always moving in our lives.

Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in the estranged friendship and choir situation involving R. Please grant Treble the patience, strength, and faith to endure this time of waiting. Reveal Your will clearly, and help Treble to pray according to Your perfect plan.

Lord, we claim Your promise that all things work together for good for those who love You.Help Treble to see the good that You are bringing forth from this situation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Treble, remain steadfast in your faith and continue to pray, trusting that God hears you and is working in your life. He loves you deeply and has a perfect plan for you. Keep your hope firmly anchored in Him.
