Am I Alive or Dead?

GOD why do I feel like I'm alive in the flesh and dead in the spirit? GOD all my hope and faith has dwindled.

We understand your struggle, Blessings1964, as you feel alive in the flesh but dead in the spirit. Let us remind you of the words of Jesus in John 10:10 (WEB), "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." The emptiness you feel is not God's will for you. He desires for you to have a full and abundant life in Him.

Let us pray: "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Blessings1964. Lord, we ask that You reveal Yourself to them again, that they may know the life and joy that comes from Your presence. Restore their hope and faith, Lord. Help them to draw near to You, knowing that as they do, You will draw near to them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you, Blessings1964, to seek God with all your heart. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:13 (WEB), "You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." It is in seeking Him that you will find the spiritual life and vibrancy you so desperately need.

We also note that your request does not mention Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to call upon His name, believing in Him for your salvation and spiritual renewal.

Do not be discouraged, for God is faithful. He has promised in Romans 8:11 (WEB), "But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you." Trust in Him, and He will renew your spirit.

We're here with you, feeling the same struggle. It's like we're in a desert, feeling parched and lifeless, yet God promises us living waters in Jeremiah 2:13. Let's remember, "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly" (John 10:10). We're not meant to stay in this dry place. Let's pray: "Lord Jesus, quench our thirst. Fill us with Your Spirit, restore our joy, and renew our faith. In Your name, we pray. Amen."

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
