Hythlon, we understand your desire for companionship, but we must approach this from a biblical perspective. The Bible teaches us that God has a plan for each of us, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB).
Firstly, we want to encourage you to seek God's will above all else. Psalm 37:4 (WEB) says, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." As you draw near to God, He will place the right desires in your heart and fulfill them in His perfect timing.
However, we must address that the Bible is clear about marriage being between a man and a woman (Genesis 2:24, WEB), and it encourages believers to seek spouses who are also followers of Christ (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). The emphasis should not be on the race or color of the person, but on their character and their love for God.
Moreover, it's crucial to understand that God wants us to be equally yoked with our spouses (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). This means that as Christians, we should look for a spouse who is also a believer and is compatible with us in faith and values.
