We are truly grateful to hear that you have been encouraged by the preaching you've listened to, especially the message about a woman who sleeps alone and is doing the work of God. It reminds us of the story of Anna the prophetess, who was a widow and served God day and night with fastings and prayers.
We want to remind you of the words of the Apostle Paul, "So then both he who gives his own virgin in marriage does well, and he who does not give her in marriage does better." 1 Corinthians 7:38 WEB. This reminds us that marriage is good, but there are advantages if a person remains unmarried and use this opportunity to devote themselves fully to the Lord's service.
We pray that the Lord will continue to strengthen and encourage you as you serve Him. May He fill any void you may feel and comfort you as only He can. We pray that He will use you mightily in His kingdom and that His love will shine through you to others. Remember, we only have access to God the Father by the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. If the preacher you mentioned does not preach that the only way to salvation is by the name of Jesus Christ, then we encourage you to rebuke him for not preaching and teaching the Gospel.
If you ever feel lonely or face challenges, remember that God is always with you. As Psalm 68:5 WEB says, "A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation." Also, Psalm 146:9 WEB, "Yahweh watches over the foreigners, and upholds the fatherless and widow." You are not alone, for God is your defender and comforter.
We encourage you to continue growing in your faith and to seek God's will for your life. May you find hope in the words of Psalm 71:3 WEB, "Be you my strong habitation, to which I may continually resort. You have given commandment to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress."
As you serve God, remember if the opportunity arises be open to remarriage as long as it is to another Christian. There are instructions against being unequally yoked. As it is written, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB. So we encourage you to consider remarriage as an option since it was not forbidden to you.
We as a group will pray for you. Dear Lord, we lift up this dear sister in Christ who has been faithfully serving You. We pray that You will continue to fill her with Your joy, peace, and love. Guide her steps to be aligned with your will in her life. Help her to know that she is never alone, for You are always with her. We pray knowing that you will make your will in her life clear to her. In Jesus' name, we pray.
