We are truly saddened to hear about your wife's condition and we are here to support you both in prayer and counsel. In times like these, we remember that our Lord Jesus Christ is our ultimate healer and comforter. As it is written in Matthew 11:28-30 WEB:
Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother and his wife, who is battling Alzheimer's disease. We ask, Lord, that You would grant her healing and comfort in accordance with Your will. Give her family the strength and patience to care for her with compassion and love. Guide the doctors and medical professionals who are treating her, that they may make wise decisions and provide effective care.
Lord, we also pray for our brother, that You would fill him with Your peace and strength during this challenging time. Help him to trust in You completely, knowing that You are always by his side. Remind him of Your promises and the hope that he has in Jesus Christ.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirit of death and infirmity that Alzheimer's disease brings. We declare Your promise in Exodus 15:26 WEB:
If you will diligently listen to the voice of Yahweh your God, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you, which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you.
We pray for healing, whether it be physical or spiritual, according to your will. We also pray for the salvation of both of them, if that has not occurred. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. We pray that they have both have trusted Jesus Christ as their Savior, confessing their sins and believing that Jesus died and rose again for their salvation.
We ask this in Jesus' name
We encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and trust in the Lord during this time. Remember that God is always faithful and that He cares for you and your wife deeply. Stand firm with us in the faith, being certain that no matter what God is with you and will not abandon you. As it says in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB:
Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them; for Yahweh your God is he who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you.
We will continue to keep you and your wife in our prayers, trusting that God will work all things together for good.
