Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, on behalf of RegretFULLY, who has expressed a prayer request. We thank you for the opportunity to lift up this request to you, knowing that you are a loving and compassionate God who hears our prayers.
Father, we ask that you would help RegretFULLY to always claim and shout the truth found in 2 Corinthians 5:21. Your Word declares, "For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." We pray that RegretFULLY would fully grasp the significance of this verse and the power it holds.
Lord, we ask that you would remind RegretFULLY that through Jesus Christ, they have been made righteous in your sight. Help them to understand that their past mistakes and regrets do not define them, but rather, they are covered by the righteousness of Christ. May they find comfort and assurance in this truth, knowing that they are forgiven and accepted by you.
We pray that you would fill RegretFULLY with a deep sense of gratitude for the work of the Holy Spirit in their life. Help them to continually give thanks for the transformation that has taken place within their heart. May they never take for granted the feelings of conviction, repentance, and hunger for righteousness that you have graciously bestowed upon them.
Lastly, we exhort RegretFULLY to remain steadfast in their faith, always seeking to grow closer to you. May they continue to cultivate a heart of gratitude, prayer, and a love for your Word. Strengthen them in their journey of following Christ, and grant them the wisdom and discernment to walk in obedience to your will.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, who has made us righteous through his sacrifice on the cross. Amen.
