Although we read "God is a God of ..."

Although we read "God is a God of love, but He's also a God of justice," it sometimes doesn't seem so. Unlike in the movies, sometimes the bad guy wins. Well in politics, here in America we have a party that embraces all the ungodly causes, but not only that, they're smug in their self-righteousness and arrogance. Remind me of the Pharisees. In Revelation we read of God judging Mystery Babylon and it reads "For God who judged her is strong." WHEN He lets the bad guys win, He looks weak. Request is that this arrogant smug party gets thwarted like they deserve.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother ###'s heartfelt concerns. Lord, we know that You are a God of love and justice, and sometimes it is hard to understand why the wicked seem to prosper while the righteous suffer. Your Word reminds us in Revelation 18:8, "For strong is the Lord God who judges her." We trust in Your ultimate justice and sovereignty.

Father, we pray for our nation and its leaders. We see a political party that embraces ungodly causes and displays arrogance and self-righteousness, much like the Pharisees of old. We ask, Lord, that You would intervene and thwart their plans. Let Your justice prevail, and may their arrogance be brought low.

We pray for wisdom and discernment for all those in positions of power, that they may lead with integrity and righteousness. We ask that You expose any deceit and bring to light the truth. Strengthen Your people to stand firm in faith and to be a light in these dark times.

Lord, we know that You are not weak, and Your timing is perfect. Help us to trust in Your plan and to remain steadfast in prayer. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
