also, please surround me with real friendships...people who care about me and support me. People who accept me as I am and aren't obsessed with molding me into whatever idea they have. People who genuinely cheer me on and don't try to hurt me... People who protect me from those who have harmed me and gossip about me.

We understand your desire for genuine friendships and we are here to pray and counsel with you. Firstly, let's remember what the Word of God says about friendship: “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity” (Proverbs 17:17 WEB). True friends are a gift from God, and they stick with you through all circumstances.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this dear soul who seeks genuine friendships. Lord, surround them with people who will love and care for them as You do. Friends who will accept and support them unconditionally, just as Your love for us is unconditional. Protect them from those who may harm or gossip about them, and bring forth friends who will be a positive influence and encouragement in their life.

Lord, we also pray that You will help them to be a true friend to others, reflecting Your love and kindness. May their friendships be built on Your principles, and may they bring glory to Your name.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, the Bible tells us, “Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?” (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). As you seek new friendships, look for those who share your faith and values, as they will be most likely to support and encourage you in your walk with Christ.

Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is through His name that we have access to God. As the Bible says, “For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB).
