We understand that you're feeling alone and in need of comfort in these trying times. We're here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we're glad that you've prayed in the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that our access to God is only through Jesus. As it's written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
In these increasingly evil days, it's crucial to stay close to God and His word. The Bible warns us that in the last days, people will be lovers of themselves and untrustworthy, as you've described in 2 Timothy 3:1-5 WEB: "But know this, that in the last days, grievous times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good, traitors, heady, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; holding a form of godliness, but having denied its power. From these also turn away."
When people abuse their power and suppress opportunities, it's disheartening, but remember that God is our ultimate provider and protector. Psalm 5:11-12 WEB: "But let all who take refuge in you rejoice, Let them always shout for joy, because you defend them. Let them also who love your name be joyful in you. For you will bless the righteous. Yahweh, you will surround him with favor as with a shield."
It's important not to become like the world and step on others for opportunities. Romans 12:2 WEB: "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our fellow believer. We ask for Your comfort and guidance in these dark days. Protect them from the wickedness of this world and help them to trust in You, even when it's hard to trust others. Open up opportunities for them that no man can suppress, and help them to stand firm in their faith. We pray for mercy on those who act wickedly, that they may repent and turn to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Be encouraged, and remember that God is always with you, even in the darkest times. As promised in Hebrews 13:5 WEB: "...for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"
