We are truly sorry to hear about the trauma you have experienced due to workplace abuse and the unemployment you are currently facing. We are here to pray with you and to offer biblical encouragement as you navigate through this difficult time.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in the darkest of times. As it is written in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you." You are not alone, and God is walking this journey with you.
It is commendable that you are spending time with God and sharing your feelings with Him. This is a powerful form of prayer and fellowship. Remember that God heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3 WEB.
Regarding the emotional scars, we know that healing is a process, and it may take time. But be assured that God is able to heal you completely. In Jeremiah 30:17 WEB, God promises, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says Yahweh."
We understand that studying God's word may feel challenging right now, but we encourage you to start small. Even reading a single verse a day can bring comfort and renewal. Jesus Christ also read God's Word when He was in the wilderness and being tried by Satan. Try this yourself and continue to pray that God will send the Holy Spirit Scottish Comforter to you. As it is written in John 14:15,16,27-28 WEB "If you love me, keep my commandments. I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever. ... Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.... because the Father is greater than I."
It is understandable that you feel others may not understand your experience, but we want to assure you that there are people who care and who will support you. As believers, we are called to bear one another's burdens. Galatians 6:2 WEB. It is also in a context like this that forgiveness is very important whether it is deserved or not. We often think it needs to be earned, but Christ-like forgiveness is not earned. Turn the other cheek if you see them again. Matthew 5:38 WEB, "You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.' But I tell you, don't resist him who is evil; but whoever strikes you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also." If you feel you cannot forgive them fully pray that Christ will do it for you.
In your prayer, you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father and heaven. It is also only in Jesus Christ that we are saved. If you have mistakenly left it out, review your personal acknowledgment, relationship, and understanding about Jesus Christ to make sure that you have one and it is correct. Jesus is the only way to heaven and to God. It is also by Jesus' stripes that you are healed of this workplace abuse, suffering, and trauma. Now may be a good time to find a Bible believing and preaching Church home to help you. Given that the heart of man is desperately wicked, cause them to be regenerated and washed in Jesus Christ's blood. Therefore, we will pray using Jesus' name.
Let us pray together:"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who is going through a difficult time. Lord, You know the pain and trauma they have experienced, and You understand the depth of their wounds. We ask that You would heal them completely, both emotionally and spiritually. Send Your Holy Spirit to comfort and guide them through this time. Help them to find the strength to study Your word and to trust in Your promises.
Father we ask that you rebuke the spirit of trauma and abuse that may be affecting them right now. We ask that You rebuke any lingering hatred and lack of forgiveness right now. Father please assign an angel experienced in rebuking strong holds, as well as spiritual help to assist them in these areas. Father reinforce the hedge around them and keep the Devil at bay as they begin to forgive the people involved.
We also pray for community to be sent to help them God.
Lord, we ask that You provide for their needs, including opening doors for new employment opportunities that align with Your will. Give them the courage to reach out to others and to find support in their time of need. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
