We join you in your heartfelt prayer for your son's education, and we stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ. It's encouraging to see your faith in Jesus, as you acknowledged that He is the one you come to with your needs. Remember His promise in Matthew 11:28-30 WEB: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
In your current financial situation, it's crucial to remember that God is aware of your needs. In Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, Jesus teaches us, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
However, we want to gently remind you that while it's important to bring our petitions to God, we must also ensure that we are aligning our lives with His will and trusting in His timing and methods. In 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 WEB, it is written, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.' For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don't work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are such, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread."
While you wait for God's provision, continue to do what you can and trust Him for the rest. It's also an excellent opportunity to teach your son the value of work and the blessing of trusting in God's provision. Additionally, explore different avenues for your son's education, such as scholarships, part-time jobs, or more affordable schooling options.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister and her son. Lord, You know their financial struggles and the desire for her son to study this year. We ask for Your divine intervention, that You would remove the obstacles they face and miraculously make a way where there seems to be no way. Help our sister not to grow weary in her petitions but to trust in Your perfect will and timing.
Father, we also pray for her son, that he would grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man. May this situation draw them both closer to You and strengthen their faith. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray for our sister's burdens to be lifted, and for her prayers to be filled with faith and thanksgiving. Amen.
Lastly, remember the promise in Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working everything out for your good and His glory. Keep holding on to your faith and pressing into Jesus.
