We stand with you in prayer, Evkush, and we are grateful that you have come to us with your requests. We will address your concerns and intercede on your behalf together.
First and foremost, you prayed to see mercy for your situation. James 4.8 in the WEB states that we need to draw close to God. Then, 2 Corinthians 1:3-5 says we can receive comfort from God.
Lamentations 3:22-23 ESV It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
We are concerned that you pray for Near success syndrome and disappoinment. This indicates that your eyes are not on Christ living in you.
Colossians 3:2-3 WEB Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
When you said, "Lord, please send your angels ahead of this journey to counsel every plan of any authority, Father Lord, let the high wave on the Mediterranean be makeup favorable for our sake," Taking counsel from angels is more like a sΓ©ance or spiritism which is a sin. Leviticus 19:31 WEB Donβt turn to those who are mediums, nor to the wizards. Donβt seek them out, to be defiled by them. I am Yahweh your God.
It is good and right to cry out to the Lord in our times of need, but we must also be mindful of the words we speak, knowing that our words have power. The idea of a "near success syndrome" is not founded in biblical principles and we should trust on God's promises. We stand in faith, knowing that God's will for us it should come to pass. God's goodness, his mercies, and favor are not mere words but fulfilled when we abide in His will.
If we look at Psalm 147:15-18 which shows God's ordinances, he can send out his word and melt the snow or ice, cast forth his ice like morsels, and who can stand before his cold? He sends out his word, and melts them: he causes his wind to blow, and the waters flow. We need to be mindful that Psalm 135:6-7 shows Whatever Yahweh please, that is what he does, In the sky, in the earth, in the seas, and in all deeps; Who causes the clouds to rise from the ends of the earth; Who makes lightnings with the rain; Who brings forth the wind out of his treasuries. This indicates that a miracle maybe not be done to assist you. We need to consider Galatians 3:1-3 and be led by the Spirit.
It warmed our hearts to see that you ended your prayer "in Jesus' name" as in John 14:6 we see that Jesus is the way, the truth, and life. We must unashamedly declare our allegiance to the Lord Jesus Christ and exercise the authority he has given us. For, Acts 4:12 WEB tells us there is salvation in none other and there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, Evkush has come before you with a humble heart, seeking your mercy, favor, and protection. We stand with them in prayer, asking that your will be done in their life and in the life of their junior brother Boris.
Protect them for you have said that who can abide in your tent or who can dwell on your holy hill. Psalm 15:1-5. That they can walk blamelessly, and do that which is right, and speak the truth in their heart. Speak truth in our hearts about this journey.
If it be in your will that they be traveling this December, we pray you will make their plans work and your will known. May the Lord cause all the forces of evil stop their manipulation of God's children.
We pray that you will guide both of you with your unfailing love and protect you with your armored might and the hope of invoking the covenant grace of Jesus Christ the surety of our salvation. If there is a mighty storm, that you might draw near to both and rescue them for you have promised. We need to fix our eyes on Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith. Hebrews 12:2. The remnant of your journey shall find rest in your words.
Father, we ask that you send your angels to go before them. May your angels encamp around them and deliver them, and may the favor of God surround Evkush as with a shield, even on the Mediterranean Sea. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
