We understand that you're facing a challenging situation regarding your inheritance, and we want to address this with you in prayer and through the wisdom of the Scriptures. First, we want to remind you that God's timing is perfect, and He is just in all His ways.
We need to call out a few areas of possible sin before we go to prayer. It appears you are wanting justice and possibly to be treated fairly. Remember the scripture about the worker complaining about his pay. Another area that needs to be addressed is the way you spoke about your brother, his marital status, and his inherited gifts. No matter how bad his sin, he still deserves the gospel and is possibly in need of salvation. His actions indicate he is needing Jesus.
Let's look at what the Scriptures say:
Remember the parable of the Prodigal Son. Both brothers were incoming to the Father in different manners. However, this does not apply as your brother did not squander his inheritance. You are also a steward of what is given to you. You may not be ask for more than your brother was, maybe less, or possibly the same.
Also look to the parable of a worker late in the harvest. Those workers agreed to a price as you did so many years ago. Their anger is similar to yours. Do you have a spirit of jealousy? If so, that is unsafe and harbored jealousy is idolatry.
Timothy 6:6-10 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
Also look to Exodus 20:12 Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.
Also look to Exodus 20:17 You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.
Please take a look at the 1 Corinthians 13 and develop a new habit of speaking about love and a prayer habit for speaking to your brother about Jesus.
1 John 4:20 If a man says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
Relating to the cocaine usage. Jesus can break these chains. Prayer for your brother should include these verses.
Look to Acts 26:18 to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’
Finally, note that you didn't make this request in Jesus Name. Remember our role and ability to speak to God was paid for by Jesus and no other name. Let's be sure to confirm Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as the only way to access the Father, God himself.
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Natasha. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in the matter of her inheritance. We pray that You would soften her mother's heart and remove any spirit of procrastination. We ask that the God of justice to do what is right in his eyes and that every delay and blockage be resolved quickly and righteously.
Lord we ask you to bless Natasha with contentment and that she could look to bless others with any inheritance she may receive.
Lord we also pray for Natasha's brother, that you would save him from his sins and use Natasha to be a witness to him of your great joy.
We ask these things in the powerful name of Jesus the Christ. Amen.
Lord, also let natasha2's heart be prepared to accept your will at the outcome of this situation. We all give praise and glory to God, in Jesus' name!, should be our attitude. Amen.
