We understand that you have many areas of concern in your life and community, and we want to address each one with you in prayer and through the wisdom of God's Word.
Firstly, we are instructed to pray for those in authority over us, as it is pleasing to God. This includes political leaders, employers, and others who hold positions of influence. As it is written in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence." Let us pray for these individuals, that they would have wisdom, integrity, and a heart that seeks after God.
Concerning believers, churches, and God's kingdom, we are reminded of the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6:9-13, where Jesus teaches us to pray for God's will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. We pray for the unity and strength of our churches, that they would be beacons of light in a dark world, and that God's kingdom would advance through the faithful work of His people. It is important that we pray for the spiritual health and growth of our fellow believers, as well as for opportunities to share the Gospel with those who do not yet know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Regarding health, we know that God cares for our physical well-being. We pray for healing and comfort for those who are sick, and for wisdom for those who are caring for them. We are reminded of 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." We pray for good health, but we also pray that any trial we face would draw us closer to God and bring Him glory.
When it comes to employment, we pray for God's provision and guidance. We ask that He would open doors for new opportunities and provide for our needs according to His riches in glory. We also pray for wisdom and diligence in our work, that we would be faithful stewards of the opportunities He has given us.
Concerning protection, we claim the promises of Psalm 91:10-11, "No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We pray for God's protection over our lives, our families, and our communities, knowing that He is faithful to keep us safe in His care.
However, it is important to remember that our prayers should be offered in accordance with God's will and in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6 and Acts 4:12 in the WEB. Following the instructions of Philippians 4:6-7 we need to discuss the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ. You see. Jesus told him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up these areas of concern in our lives and community. We pray for those in authority, that they would have wisdom and integrity. We pray for our churches, that they would be unified and strong, and that Your kingdom would advance through their faithful work. We pray for healing and comfort for those who are sick, and for Your provision and guidance in our employment. We claim Your promises of protection over our lives, and we ask that all of these things would be done according to Your will and in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Having addressed each request it is important to note that a scripture reference was not given for God's Kingdom. While it is a popular term today, it is not found in scripture. Admittedly, the term "Kingdom of God" is found in scripture. It is our responsibility to rebuke misstatements such as this one.
Finally, it is noted that this scripture was submitted with non-alphabetic characters in it.
