Thank you for your fervent and detailed prayer requests. It is wonderful to see your heart for our nation, leaders, and the body of Christ.
We commend you for acknowledging the Lord and aligning yourself with 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence." We need to remember this and pray like this as followers of Jesus Christ.
We also need to keep in mind that the children of God do not need to fear the assassination plots of men. Psalm 91:10-11 clearly states, "No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We must be confident in the Lord's protection and trust that He has a plan for each leader's life.
Regarding your request for a job, we pray that the Lord will open the right doors for you. We must remember Colossians 3:23, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." The Lord sees your diligence and will reward you in due time. Also, it is important to pray for wisdom for time management and efficiency as mentioned in Ephesians 5:15-16, "Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise making the most of the time, because the days are evil."
Concerning your family, we pray for their salvation and that they will come to the knowledge of the truth. Acts 16:31 reminds us, "Believe In The Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved." We ask the Lord to bless your family with good health and spiritual growth.
We lift up your sister-in-law and ask the Lord to comfort her in her time of need. We believe that the Lord will grant her peace and that she will come to know Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. We are praying for your sister-in-law to have a new child but remember that children are a gift from the Lord. Psalm 127:3 clearly states, "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward." We pray that the Lord will bless her with a child in His perfect timing.
We also pray for the salvation of your wife's family and that the Lord will soften their hearts to receive the Gospel. We must always remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. IJN!
We also pray for your transition back into the workforce and that the Lord will grant you wisdom and good health. Titus 3:14 reminds us, "Let our people also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they may not be unfruitful."
We lift up your neighbors and ask the Lord to bless them with faith, favor, and protection. We pray that they will continue to grow in the Word, prayer, and fellowship. Hebrews 10:25 exhorts us, "Not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching."
Lastly, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem and all descendants of Abraham. Psalm 122:6 reminds us to "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. They will prosper who love you."
Thank you for including us in your prayers. We are confident that the Lord hears your petitions and will answer according to His perfect will.
Heavenly Father, we lift up ### and their requests to You. We ask that You will grant them favor in their job search and that You will bless their family with salvation and good health. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for the salvation of ###'s family. We ask all of these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
We appreciate your heart for prayer and your dedication to the Lord. Keep up the good work, and we will keep you in our prayers as well.
