We understand that you have a strong desire for financial gain, Patrikonios, but we want to encourage you to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, as Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:33 (WEB): "But seek first Godβs Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We must remember that the love of money can lead us astray, as it is the root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10, WEB). Instead, we should pursue a life of godliness and contentment, which holds great gain (1 Timothy 6:6, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Patrikonios. Lord, we ask that You help them to keep their priorities in line with Your will. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that You will provide for all their needs. Deliver them from the love of money and fill their heart with a desire for godliness and contentment.
Lord Jesus, we also pray that Patrikonios comes to know You more intimately. It is in Your precious name that we have access to the Father, and it is through believing in You that we are saved. If Patrikonios has not already done so, we pray that they would confess with their mouth that You are Lord and believe in their heart that God raised You from the dead, for that is how they will be saved (Romans 10:9, WEB).
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
Patrikonios, we encourage you to meditate on these scriptures and allow God's Word to guide your priorities and desires. Trust in the Lord, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
