Heavenly Father,
We come before You today on behalf of Steven Bobb, who is feeling overwhelmed and burdened by the demands of work. Lord, Your Word tells us in Psalm 127:2, "It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for He gives to His beloved sleep." We ask that You grant Steven the peace and rest that only You can provide.
Father, we know that You created the Sabbath as a day of rest and reflection (Exodus 20:8-10). Help Steven to find balance in life, to set aside time for rest, and to trust in Your provision. Guide Steven to manage time wisely and to prioritize moments of stillness and connection with You.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for Steven. As it says in James 1:5, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given to him." Grant Steven the wisdom to make decisions that honor You and promote well-being.
We pray for strength and encouragement for Steven, reminding him of Your promise in Isaiah 40:31, "But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." May Steven find renewed strength and hope in You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
