We are truly sorry to hear about the racial discrimination you are facing at your workplace, especially from ###. We stand with you in prayer against this injustice and the evil that drives it.
Firstly, we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 WEB.
We should also remember what Jesus taught us, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, Matthew 5:44 WEB. This does not mean we ignore or accept their behavior, but rather, we do not retaliate with evil or hold onto bitterness.
Let's pray together:
Almighty God, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing racial discrimination at their workplace. Lord, you know the injustice they are facing, and the evil intent of ###. We pray that you would intervene and bring an end to this discrimination. Soften ###'s heart, Lord, and bring conviction to her spirit. Change her from an enemy to a lover of all people, created in your image.
We pray for justice and protection for our brother/sister. Guide them in how to respond to this situation, giving them wisdom and discernment. Help them to love and forgive, not in their own strength, but through the power of your Holy Spirit.
We also pray for their workplace. Bring unity and understanding among the coworkers. Let your love and peace reign where there is currently strife and discord.
Lastly Lord, we pray for ###. We know that she needs you as much as anyone else. Reveal yourself to her, Lord, and bring her to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, restoration, and victory over this situation. Bring glory to your name, Lord, as you work in the hearts and minds of those involved. Amen.
We encourage you to bring this matter to the appropriate authorities at your workplace. It is important to advocate for justice and equity. Continue to pray for ### and your other coworkers, trusting that God is at work in the situation.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your heart free from bitterness and hatred. God's love and forgiveness are not just for us to receive, but also to give. Remember the words of Jesus as he hung on the cross, Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing. Luke 23:34 WEB.
Stand strong in your faith, and know that we are here with you in prayer and support.
