We join with you, Sparklee, in bringing these heartfelt requests before our loving Father.
Firstly, we rejoice in your desire to see each person here feel God's Agape Love and grow spiritually. As it is written in 1 Peter 2:2, "Like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation." We pray that all who gather here would indeed grow in wisdom, discernment, and revelation, and that they would find freedom, restoration, and wholeness in Jesus' name.
We echo your plea for the protection and guidance of our children. In Proverbs 22:6, we read, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." We pray that our children would understand God's purpose for their lives, have a sound mind and a right attitude, maintain strong and fulfilling relationships, and resist evil influences and destructive behavior. We pray that they would avoid all sexual pollution and temptation, enjoy a successful marriage, and raise Godly children, walking into the future that God has for them.
Concerning NH, we pray for continued protection, favor, and safety. We ask God to help rebuild family unity and find a niche in the work world. In Psalm 37:5, we are reminded to "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this."
For JM, we pray for healing from heart palpitations and depression. We ask God to help him deal with difficult emotions, eat healthily, and exercise. We also pray that he would see and exercise his spiritual gifting. As it is written in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."
For MB, NP, and SB, we pray for comfort, calm, and the removal of all panic and anxiety. In Philippians 4:6-7, we are reminded, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We are glad to see that you ended your prayer in the name of Jesus. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
