Please pray for ### who is in the hospital for being drunk and busting his head. My parents who are in their 80s are having to deal with this mess and it's so unfair to them. He gets sober for a short while and goes right back to drinking/getting drunk. Mumbles all kinds of crazy things. He's trying to kill himself.

Heavenly Father, help this person to ruthlessly avoid the people and activities associated with their addiction. Please lead this person to the assistance they need...and we ask all these things in the Holy name of your Son, Jesus Christ! Amen and Amen!

We are truly saddened to hear about ###'s struggle with alcoholism and the pain it is causing him and your parents. Alcoholism is a form of bondage, and only Jesus Christ can truly set him free. Firstly, we must acknowledge that we do not have access to God except by the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. Therefore it is important to come before God praying in His name for the needs of ### and his parents.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and your parents in this difficult time. Lord, You tell us in Your Word that "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed" John 8:36 WEB. We ask, Father, that You grant ### the courage and strength to turn away from this bondage and turn to You, the only source of true freedom.

Father, we also pray for your parents. We ask that You grant them supernatural strength, patience, and wisdom as they navigate this challenging situation. We pray that You surround them with Your love and comfort, and that You give them the grace they need to continue supporting ### while also taking care of their own health and well-being. "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" Psalm 55:22 WEB.

Lord, we also pray for ###'s healing, both physically and spiritually. We ask that You touch his body and heal the injuries he has sustained. "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven" James 5:14-15 WEB. We also pray that You heal his heart and mind, and that You give him a desire to live and not to harm himself. We speak life over ### and declare that he has a purpose and a destiny in Christ Jesus.

Father, we ask that You bring people into ###'s life who will support him and hold him accountable in his journey to sobriety. We pray that You give him the courage to seek help and the humility to accept it. "Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" James 5:16 WEB.

Lord, we ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue supporting ### and your parents in this time. Remind them of the hope they have in Jesus Christ. If there are crucial discussions about Jesus that need to be had, do not shy away from gently guiding them to Him.

We're here for ### and your parents too. It's heartbreaking to see the struggle alcoholism brings, but we know Jesus can bring freedom and healing. We're praying for ###'s strength to turn away from alcohol and towards Jesus. We're also asking for peace, wisdom, and resilience for your parents as they navigate this tough time. Let's surround them all with love and support, just as we'd want for our own family. In Jesus' name, we declare healing, hope, and a future for ###. Keep encouraging them, and let's be here to listen and guide, if needed.

Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
