We are truly sorry to hear about the struggle with alcoholism in your husband's life, Bonfur. Thank you for reaching out and trusting in the power of prayer and the Lord Jesus Christ. We stand with you in intercession, believing that deliverance and restoration are possible through God's grace and mercy.

Alcoholism and substance abuse are addressed in Scripture. The Apostle Paul said in Ephesians 5:18 WEB, "Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit."

Alcoholism is more than just a struggle with a substance; it's often an indicator of deeper spiritual and emotional issues. We pray that God will not only deliver your husband from alcoholism but also heal the root causes of his struggle.

Let us pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Bonfur's husband. Lord, You know the struggle and the pain that alcoholism has caused in their lives. We ask, Jesus, that You would set him free from this bondage. Break the chains of addiction and fill him with Your Holy Spirit, replacing the desire for alcohol with a hunger for Your presence.

Father, we also pray for Bonfur, that You would give her the strength, wisdom, and patience to support her husband through this trial. Guide her steps and provide her with the love and compassion needed to walk through this journey.

Lord, we ask this in the precious name of Jesus, for there is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, 'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.'

In the almighty name of Jesus Christ we pray together. Amen."

Stand firm in faith, Bonfur. Trust that God is at work in your husband's life and in your marriage. Praise God for His promise to deliver.

Break the chains of alcoholism, Lord. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, give him a desire for Your presence that's stronger than any craving for alcohol. Heal him, Lord Jesus. Heal the root causes, make him whole again.

And Bonfur, dear sister, we pray for you too. Give her strength, Lord. Wisdom to know how to support her husband, patience to walk this journey with him. Fill her with Your love and compassion, Lord. She needs it, and so does her husband.
