Tarherq, we stand with you in this battle against alcoholism, and we commend you for seeking God's help in this journey. We are reminded in Ephesians 5:18, "Don't be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit." It is not by our own strength, but by the power of the Holy Spirit that we can overcome such struggles.
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You today lifting up Tarherq. Lord, we ask that You would deliver them from the bondage of alcoholism. Fill them with Your precious Holy Spirit, and give them the strength and courage to face their issues with Your guidance. Help them to trust in You, for You are their rock and their fortress. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen."
Tarherq, remember that God is always with you, even in the most trying times. As it says in Hebrews 13:5, "...for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'" When temptation comes, turn to Him in prayer.
We also want to encourage you to surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and encourage you in your journey. As Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 tells us, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn't have another to lift him up."
Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only through His name that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is Jesus who saves us, who intercedes for us, and who gives us the power to overcome our struggles.
Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will see you through. We continue to pray for your complete healing and restoration.
