We are truly sorry to hear about your struggles with alcoholism and the loss of your husband. We appreciate your openness and are here to support you in prayer and truth.
Firstly, it is commendable that you acknowledge Jesus pricking your soul. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God and salvation. As it is written, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12 WEB)
We must address that alcoholism is a sinful behavior that is subject to addiction. The Bible tells us, "Don't be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Spirit." (Ephesians 5:18 WEB) We encourage you to seek godly counsel and support to overcome this addiction. Remember, God is faithful to provide a way out of temptation. "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB)
As a widow, you are greatly valued and valued in God's sight. "But now being a widow, you hope in God and continue in petitions and prayers night and day. " (1 Timothy 5:5 WEB) God is your provider and protector. "A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation." (Psalm 68:5 WEB)
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up Tiatormar to you, asking for your divine intervention in her life. Thank you, Lord, for pricking her soul and drawing her closer to Jesus. We pray that she will fully surrender her life to Him and experience the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.
Father, we ask for your help in her struggle with alcoholism. Give her the strength and courage to overcome this addiction. Provide her with godly counselors and a supportive community to walk alongside her in this journey. Show her the way of escape from temptation and fill her with your Spirit.
Lord, we also pray for her two beautiful twin boys. Be their provider and protector. Comfort them as they deal with the loss of their father. Raise them up to be godly men who love and serve you.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, Tiatormar. God loves you and is working all things together for your good and His glory. Trust in Him, and He will never fail you. He is close to the broken hearted.
