Let us come together in prayer for your son, Doroervor. We stand with you in this time of need, trusting in the power of God to bring healing and restoration.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the promise in James 5:16 (WEB): "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
We also need to address that you did not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ in your prayer. Jesus is the only way to the Father and we can only be saved in His name. Consider this verse: Acts 4:12 (WEB) "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the son of Doroervor. Lord, we ask that You pour out Your Holy Spirit upon him, that he may hear Your voice clearly and be convicted of the destruction that alcohol is causing in his life and in the lives of his family.
Father, we pray that You break the chains of addiction and set him free from the bondage of alcoholism. We ask that You give him the strength to overcome this struggle and that You surround him with a community of believers who will support and encourage him in this journey.
Lord, we also pray for Doroervor and the rest of the family. Give them the patience, wisdom, and love to support their son and brother through this difficult time. Help them to be a reflection of Your unfailing love and grace.
We ask for a hedge of protection around their home. We pray for a marriage for him to a godly spouse and a happy family. We pray for a full and complete deliverance from this disease and for a godly lifestyle. We pray for a job and a career for him that he will enjoy and to fulfill the purposes that God has for him to do. Just as Ephesians 2:10 (WEB) says, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them."
Father, we trust in Your power to heal and restore. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Doroervor, continue to trust in the Lord and do not give up hope. Remember the words of Galatians 6:9 (WEB): "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up."
We encourage you to speak the truth in love to your son, as directed in Ephesians 4:15 (WEB): "But speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ." Pray for a Godly spouse for him and a happy family. Seek to have a Christ centered marriage for him and a family that loves God.
Allow the Holy Spirit to guide your words and actions, and trust that God is at work in your son's life. Also, be sure that you are praying to the Father in Jesus' name. We can only come to the Father through Jesus Christ, His Son. Consider this verse: John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
