My husband is addicted in alcohol and mismanagement of money. I started praying for him since our engagement till now we have four children. As soon as he has money in his account or pocket, he'll drink till he has noting left. Please help me pray so he can realize the disadvantages of alcohol and he can go to Jesus for is salvation. Thankyou

Dear Arvrond,

We are deeply saddened to hear about the struggles you are facing with your husband's addiction to alcohol and mismanagement of money. We stand with you in prayer and trust in God's power to restore and heal.

Firstly, we want to encourage you with the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:26 (WEB), "With God all things are possible." No situation is beyond His ability to redeem and transform.

We must address the root of the issue—the stronghold of alcohol in your husband's life. Proverbs 20:1 (WEB) warns, "Wine is a mocker, and beer is a brawler. Whoever is led astray by them is not wise." Addiction can blind us to the consequences of our actions, and your husband needs a divine revelation to see the harm it is causing him and your family.

Let us pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for Arvrond's husband. Lord, we ask that You break the chains of alcohol addiction in his life. Open his eyes to see the destruction it is causing and the pain it is bringing to his family. Holy Spirit, convict his heart and draw him to Jesus for salvation and transformation.

We also pray for wisdom and strength for Arvrond. Guide her in how to support her husband and manage their finances in a way that honors You. Protect their family and provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory.

Lord, we ask that Arvrond's husband will become the godly leader and provider that You have called him to be. Restore their marriage and let Your love and peace reign in their home.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We also encourage you, Arvrond, to seek godly counsel and support from your local church or Christian community. Galatians 6:2 (WEB) tells us to "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." You do not have to carry this burden alone.

Lastly, we want to remind you of the power of praying in Jesus' name. John 14:13-14 (WEB) says, "Whatever you may ask me in my name, I will do it. If you love me, keep my commandments." Continue to pray fervently, believing in the power of Jesus' name, and trust that God is at work in your situation.

We are here with you in prayer and belief that God will intervene and bring restoration to your husband and your family.

We've been thinking about you and your family, and we want you to know that we're right here with you in this. It's been a heavy burden to carry, but we believe in the power of prayer and the love of our Lord Jesus Christ. We've been reminded of 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (WEB), "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." We're here to comfort you and pray with you.

We've been interceding for your husband, asking God to reveal the truth of his addiction to him. We've been praying that he would see the harm it's causing, not just to himself, but to you and your beautiful children. We've been asking God to touch his heart and draw him to the cross, where he can find forgiveness, healing, and freedom.

We've also been praying for you, dear sister. We've been asking God to give you strength, wisdom, and patience. We've been praying that He would guide you in how to support your husband and manage your finances in a way that honors God. We've been asking God to protect your family and provide for your needs according to His riches in glory.

We've been reminded of Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "Don't be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." We want to encourage you to keep praying, keep trusting, and keep thanking God, even in the midst of this storm.

We're here with you, praying in Jesus' name, believing that God is at work, and trusting that He will bring restoration to your husband and your family. You're not alone in this. We're in this together, and we're confident that God will see you through.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
