We understand your struggle, Anagnoon, and we are here to support you in prayer and truth. We are encouraged that you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, as it is only through Him that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16 WEB).
Firstly, we commend your faith and your belief in the power of prayer. Jesus said, "If you believe, all things are possible to him who believes." (Mark 9:23 WEB). This includes your deliverance from alcohol addiction.
However, we must address that your struggle with alcohol has led you to other sins such as lying, cheating, and stealing. These are indeed evil ways that grieve the heart of God. The Bible tells us, "Don't be drunken with wine, in which is excess, but be filled with the Spirit." (Ephesians 5:18 WEB). Drunkenness can lead to many other sins, as you've experienced.
We also want to remind you of the promise in 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB), "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
Let us pray for you:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for our dear brother Anagnoon. Lord, You know his struggle with alcohol addiction and the other sins that it has led him into. We ask that You break this chain of addiction in his life. By the power of the Holy Spirit, deliver him from this bondage. Heal his body, mind, and spirit. Give him the strength to resist temptation and the wisdom to find the way of escape that You always provide. Help him to live a life that is pleasing to You, full of truth, integrity, and righteousness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to keep fighting the good fight of faith, Anagnoon. Engage with other believers who can support and encourage you, and never forget that God is with you and will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5 WEB).
