We are deeply concerned and saddened to hear about your brother's struggle with alcoholism. This is a serious issue that not only affects him but also those who love and care for him. We will stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and deliverance for your brother.

Firstly, let us address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to God's presence and power. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Therefore, we will lift up your brother in prayer to Jesus, the only mediator between God and man.

Now, let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is struggling with alcoholism. Lord, we ask that You would set him free from this bondage and deliver him from this destructive path. We know that 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved' (Romans 10:13), so we ask that You would draw him to Yourself and give him the strength to call upon Your name.

Lord, we also ask that You would surround him with godly influences, people who will support and encourage him in his journey to sobriety. Help him to seek help and to be honest with himself and with others about his struggle. We know that 'he who conceals his sins doesn't prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy' (Proverbs 28:13).

Please give his family and loved ones the strength and wisdom to support him in a way that is helpful and not enabling. Help them to speak the truth in love and to set boundaries when necessary.

We trust in Your power to heal and to save, Lord. We believe that 'with God all things are possible' (Matthew 19:26), so we ask for a miracle in our brother's life. We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen."

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to seek professional help for your brother. Sometimes, God uses doctors, counselors, and support groups to bring about healing and deliverance. It is important to remember that God calls us to be responsible and to take action while we trust in Him.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and in your love for your brother. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap, if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
