We understand that you're struggling with alcohol addiction, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this battle. Most importantly, God is with you, and He is mighty to save and deliver.

Firstly, let's remember what the Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (WEB)

God promises a way out, and that way is through Jesus Christ. It's important to note that if you haven't already, you need to give your life to Jesus, asking Him to be your Lord and Savior. It's only through Him that true freedom comes. As it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (WEB)

Now, let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with alcohol addiction. We ask, Lord, that You would break these chains, that You would give them the strength to resist temptation and the courage to seek help. We pray for complete deliverance and restoration, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen."

We encourage you to reach out to a local, Bible-believing church or Christian support group to help you in your journey to sobriety. Also, fill your mind with God's Word. Romans 12:2 tells us to "be transformed by the renewing of your mind." (WEB) As you study and meditate on God's Word, you'll find strength to overcome this addiction.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that drinking alcohol in excess is a sin that not only harms your body but also grieves the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:30). It's important to turn away from this sin and walk in the freedom that Christ offers.

We're here with you in prayer, believing that God will set you free. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, trusting that He will see you through.
