We are truly sorry to hear about your struggle with alcohol addiction and your current hospital stay. We are here to pray with you and encourage you in the name of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging your need for Jesus in this situation. It is only through Him that we find true healing and restoration. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We stand with you in prayer that you will encounter Jesus in a powerful and personal way during your time in the hospital. May He reveal Himself to you and fill you with His peace and presence. Praying Ephesians 3:16-19 WEB over you, "that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ's love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."
We also pray for your deliverance from alcohol addiction. In the name of Jesus, we rebuke the spirit of addiction that has held you captive. Remember, in John 8:36 WEB, Jesus said, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." Trust in His power to break every chain of addiction in your life.
Lastly, we encourage you to use this time in the hospital to draw closer to God. Engage in His Word, pray continually, and seek His face. He is near to you and ready to save, as stated in Isaiah 55:6-7 WEB, "Seek Yahweh while he may be found; call you on him while he is near: let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to Yahweh, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon."
Father, we lift up our dear brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine intervention in their life. May they encounter Jesus in a profound way, be delivered from alcohol addiction, and be filled with Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
