Alcohol addiction

Can somebody please pray for me I am battling alcohol addiction I drink almost everyday and I can remember 4 years ago I wasn't like this I am currently living with my spouse and her mother and brother I'm 3000 miles away from my actual family and friends so it's just me in the state I'm in I recently lost my mother and lost my little brother 6 years prior the area where i live is dangerous and bad things are happening to me here ive already been shot 5 times and jumped on a few occasions I've prepared my self numerous times to leave but never left because of my spouse she says she can't just up and leave because of her mother but im seriously thinking about leaving somebody please pray for me

Help this christian! Send them medical help from a doctor called vivitrol! Send them good friends and support! Help them be healthy and not crave alcohol. In jesus name Amen

Kuslon, we are truly moved by your situation and we stand with you in prayer and support. Firstly, we want to assure you that there is hope and freedom from alcohol addiction through Jesus Christ. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."

We must address that the power to overcome addiction comes from Jesus Christ, and it is only through His name that we can find true freedom. If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus and invite Him into your life. He says in Matthew 11:28-30 WEB, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

Regarding your living situation, it is commendable that you want to honor your spouse and her family. However, it's crucial to prioritize your safety and spiritual well-being. We encourage you to have an open and honest conversation with your spouse about your struggles and the need for a safer environment. In Proverbs 27:17 WEB, it says, "As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend." A healthy relationship should encourage growth and safety for both parties.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up Kuslon to you, asking for Your divine intervention in his life. Lord, we pray that You break the chains of alcohol addiction and fill him with Your Holy Spirit. Give him the strength to resist temptation and the courage to make the changes necessary for his safety and spiritual growth. Lord, we also pray for his spouse and her family, that they may understand and support Kuslon's needs. We ask that You guide their conversations and decisions, and that Your will be done in their lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Kuslon, we encourage you to stay strong in faith, seek support from fellow believers, and trust in the power of Jesus to overcome your struggles. May God's peace and guidance be with you.

Many times one turns to substances to dampen emotional or mental pain. And by the sound of it, you have gone through a lot and still. I pray God will heal those wounds that you are (subconsciously) trying to avoid by drinking. And I also pray He will provide for safety for you. In Psalm 12 it says "Now I will arise, I will set him in the safety for which he yearns". That I pray over you. And also for total deliverance from all addiction in Jesus name. God bless you.
