Bemenra

Humble Prayer Partner
Greetings from Alaska!

As I type this prayer request, I am on the fifth floor of a hotel overlooking the ### River. It is 6:28 am and will be dark at least 3 more hours; it’s Alaska.

It has been nice staying in a hotel for two days. I am very tired of the SHELTER and thankfully I have a lot of points that allow me to stay here a few days for free.

Yes, the out of the nowhere paid-suspension has been a blessing in disguise. I have gotten some much needed rest; it’s like a paid vacation. Of course the reality is, I may be out of a job on December 3.

I was so confident God moved me here. I had prayed endlessly, etc. Why would God move me here to a job I would lose (no fault of my own) a few months later? It makes no sense. It “seems”, God would move me here, help me get established, etc.

I woke up a few minutes ago…. dreams. I woke up very sad and hopeless. It’s the holiday season. I am the kind of husband and father that seeks to make the holidays memorable and special. It’s so tough seeing the holiday decorations and hearing the songs, etc. They mean so little without a family.

I know God can turn all this around immediately. I believe He can; however, I do not know if He will. If I lose my job, my only real option is to move back to Texas, which puts me 5,000 miles away once again from my family. Surely, God will intervene.

My wife (###) has done some bad things to me, but I stand prepared to forgive her, and love her and treat her like none of this ever happened. I’ve always been a forgiving person. I asked that you pray for my wife’s heart so that it will be softened, and she will seek me and find me. I am here; it’s the reason I pleaded with God to bring me back to Alaska. I am here.

I do not know what God is doing. I have looked endlessly for a place to live, but I cannot find one. The veteran group agreed to help me, but I cannot find a place that meets their criteria. If I could, then they would pay $3-5,000 to get me into the house. Why hasn’t God provided that place? I don’t know.

In 2009, God gave me the absolute best place to live. I prayed for it and God gave it to me. At the time, I had no job and I still got the incredible, perfect apartment. I can’t imagine a better place to live. so, I know God can provide the absolute perfect place for me to live. I wish he would do it now. Please God provide that perfect place, please get me out of the shelter.

I love God with all my heart. I am imperfect and I deserve nothing. God, I need you, please guide my steps. Please reconcile my family. Please show me what to do, where to go, how to serve, etc. even if it means NOT teaching; I’ll do door dash. Show me God. Here am I Lord, send me.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Thank you for praying on my behalf.

Bemenra, thank you for reaching out and sharing your heart with us. We are here to pray with you and to seek God's will together in Jesus' name.

Firstly, we want to address the feelings of sadness and hopelessness that you've been experiencing, especially with the holiday season approaching. It's important to remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Even in the toughest of times, God's love for you remains steadfast and His promises hold true.

Regarding your job situation, we want to encourage you to trust in God's plan. Even if things don't make sense now, God has a purpose for everything. Remember the words of Romans 8:28, All things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

Concerning your wife, we commend your forgiving spirit and your commitment to love her unconditionally. We pray that God will soften her heart and draw her back to you. As it is written in Malachi 3:16, Then those who feared Yahweh spoke one with another; and Yahweh listened, and heard, and a book of memory was written before him, for those who feared Yahweh, and who honored his name. Also, the Lord said that He hates divorce, Your godly example of patience and forgiveness is a testament to your faith.

Regarding your request on your living situation and the veteran group's assistance, we encourage you to continue seeking God's provision. Keep asking, and it will be given to you. Keep seeking, and you will find. Keep knocking, and it will be opened to you. (Matthew 7:7).

In regards to your questioning on God's activity in your live, remember The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some count slackness; but is patient toward us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9)

We also want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, Therefore, God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, . . . and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9-11). We noticed your prayer request did not mention Jesus and we ask that you consider his role in your prayers and life.

We stand with you in prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up Bemenra. We thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness in his life. We pray for Your comfort and peace to surround him during this holiday season. We ask that You intervene in his job situation and provide a way for him to remain in Alaska if it is Your will. We pray for his wife, ###, that You would soften her heart and draw her back to Bemenra. We ask for Your provision in his living situation and that You would guide his steps and show him what to do, where to go, and how to serve You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Hey there, we're right here with you. It's tough, isn't it? The holidays, the uncertainty, the distance from family. We understand. But remember, even in the darkest nights, God is always there, shining His light on our path. We're claiming that promise with you today, "The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1)

We want to encourage you to keep trusting in God's plan. Even if you lose your job, even if you have to move back to Texas, God is still in control. He sees you, He knows your circumstances, and He loves you. Let's keep praying together, asking God to reveal His will and give you peace in the midst of uncertainty.

We're also praying for your wife, ###. We're asking God to soften her heart, to draw her back to you, and to heal your relationship. We believe in the power of forgiveness and love, and we know that God can work miracles in even the toughest situations.

And about your living situation, we're believing with you that God will provide. He's a good Father, and He wants the best for you. Let's keep seeking Him together, trusting that He will guide your steps and show you the way forward.

We're here for you, every step of the way. Let's keep praying, keep trusting, and keep loving, because that's what God calls us to do. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father,

We lift up this individual in ### who is faithfully seeking Your guidance, provision, and restoration. Lord, You see their heart, their struggles, and their desire to follow Your will. We bring their requests before You, trusting in Your goodness and Your promises.

Your Word declares in Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Father, reassure them of Your plan for their life, even in the midst of uncertainty. Though the path may seem unclear, help them to trust that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

For Provision
Lord, we pray for Your provision in their life. You have been faithful in the past, providing the perfect place to live in ###, and we know You can do it again. Your Word says in Psalm 84:11, “The Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless.” Please guide them to the right place to live and open doors for financial support through the veteran group or other means. Provide a safe, stable home that meets their needs and lifts their spirit.

For Employment and Direction
Father, as they face the uncertainty of their job, we ask for Your guidance and favor. If it is Your will, secure their current position, or lead them to new opportunities that will sustain them and align with Your plan. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Grant them clarity and courage to follow the steps You reveal.

For Family Reconciliation
Lord, we lift up their heartfelt prayer for reconciliation with their wife and family. You are the God of restoration, and Your Word in 2 Corinthians 5:18 reminds us that You have given us the ministry of reconciliation. Soften their wife’s heart, remove any barriers to healing, and bring peace to their relationship. Strengthen their resolve to forgive and to love unconditionally, just as You have forgiven and loved us (Ephesians 4:32).

For Hope and Peace
Father, the holiday season can be especially difficult when facing loneliness and despair. We ask for Your peace to fill their heart and mind. As promised in Philippians 4:7, “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Remind them that they are never alone, for You are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

For Faith to Persevere
Lord, they love You and are willing to serve wherever You send them. Strengthen their faith and reassure them of Your presence. As Isaiah 40:31 says, “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Renew their strength and provide clear guidance as they seek to honor You in all they do.

Father, we thank You for the ways You have already blessed them and for the ways You will answer their prayers. May Your will be done in their life, and may they find peace in knowing You are in control. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus.

Amen.
