Disciple of Prayer
Greetings from Alaska! If you have prayed for me, thank you. I know there is power in prayer (James 5:16) and I am thankful for every time you have brought my situation before the throne of grace and mercy. Yes, I believe Jesus is the Christ the son of God; he is the savior of the whole world and there is no salvation without him. I obeyed the gospel on July 5, 1979. Last week, I worked six days. I am thankful for my job; however, it will be over at the end of March. I am not sure what I will do, but I trust that God will make provision. I’m so grateful to God for my apartment which is perfect; however, my lease ends in mid May. Again, I am confident God will make provision at the right time. Last week, I had my car re-winterized ($688). Thankfully, the VA paid for it. The previous week I missed two days because of it. My car would not start, and my battery died and had to be replaced. I am often weak. I need continued strength to function each day. I pray every day many many times. My goal is to read the psalms each month which has helped me tremendously over the last year and a half. I highly recommended to anyone. I miss my wife Kai and I ask that you pray for her that her heart will be softened. I pray that my family will be reconciled in every way and soon. I am mentally and physically exhausted. I see the hand of God in so many ways. On December 29, 2024, I should have died when I was locked out of my car in -23° weather.. God saved my life. I moved to Alaska with no car and no place to live and God has made provision in late November, before Thanksgiving, I lost my teaching and coaching job due to no fault of my own; God provided. Please pray for me. I need strength. Thank you!
