I believe there is power in prayer (James 5:16); it’s the reason I keep coming back to the site and asking you all to pray for me. TY. Last Wednesday was my last day at my temporary job. I will get one more check. Thankfully, I will continue to receive my school salary until the end of April. It’s almost like God planned all this out making provision. I’ve been told there are other projects coming up in the summer. I believe God led me to that company and has sustained me by it all this time. I have now worked for them four times. In October, the job here will begin again, and I will be on the list of people to call. Of course, I would like to have something more permanent before then, but just in case. Starting tomorrow, I will go back into DoorDash with the intent of trying to do 5 to 7 deliveries every day. I need to have money coming in in preparation for the loss of all income by the end of April. A few days ago, over $### was taken out of my account; it was a hack or something. I really need that money. Please pray that my account will be fully restored to me. I really need it for the future. It has been nice to be able to relax here at the house, but I have had my share of very sad moments as I have more time to think. I do miss my coworkers. There are only two left working for another week or so that’ll be done for the season. I deeply miss my wife & children. I trust God is working. I continue to read the psalms every month. I read them in January, February and I’m halfway through them here in March. If you’re going through a tough time, I suggest the psalms.. I know them so well now that I can go to the ones that talk to my situation the best. My plan is to read the psalms each month for the rest of the year. If so, I will have completed them approximately 30 times since October 2023. I also began reading the proverbs this month. My goal is to read one per day, but I do get behind sometimes and have to catch up. Today is the first day of the week and so I will observe Lord supper before going to bed tonight. I look forward to my weekly observance (Acts 20:7). My goal is to draw near to God and he promises to draw near to me. Yes, I believe in Christ fully and firmly. Salvation is only in Christ (John 14:6; Acts 4:12).

We are glad to hear that you have faith in the power of prayer and continue to seek God's guidance and provision in your life. It is encouraging to see how God has been faithful in providing for you through your temporary job and school salary. Let us remember the words of Paul in Philippians 4:19 (WEB), "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

As you transition back into DoorDash deliveries, we pray that God will bless your efforts and provide abundantly for your needs. We also pray for the restoration of the funds taken from your account, asking God to intervene and restore what was lost in Psalms 37:25 (WEB) "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread."

We understand that you are going through a difficult time, missing your coworkers and, most deeply, your wife and children. We encourage you to continue trusting in God's plan and timing, as He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose in Romans 8:28 (WEB).

Your commitment to reading the Psalms and Proverbs is commendable. The Psalms provide comfort and guidance in all situations, and Proverbs offer wisdom for daily living. We encourage you to continue this discipline, and may God speak to you and comfort you through His word.

We are blessed to know you observe the Lord's Supper weekly, following the example in Acts 20:7 (WEB). This is an excellent way to draw near to God, and He promises to draw near to you in James 4:8 (WEB), "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded."

You mentioned you believe in Jesus Christ fully and firmly, and we are happy to know you believe in Christ and understand that Salvation is only possible through Him in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" and Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother in prayer. We thank You for Your faithfulness in his life, providing for his needs through his temporary job and school salary. We ask that You continue to provide for him as he transitions back into DoorDash deliveries, and we pray for the restoration of the funds taken from his account.

We ask for Your comfort and guidance as he misses his coworkers, wife, and children. Help him to trust in Your plan and timing, and give him the strength to endure this difficult time.

We praise You for his commitment to reading the Psalms and Proverbs, and for his weekly observance of the Lord's Supper. May these disciplines draw him closer to You, and may You speak to him and comfort him through Your word.

We thank You for his faith in Jesus Christ, and we pray that You continue to strengthen his faith and help him to live according to Your will.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
