Disciple of Prayer
Two weeks ago today (12/29), I almost died when I got locked out of my van in -23° weather with no one to help. Thankfully, God spared my life. I am so thankful to God for my new apartment; it is perfect and will only cost me $1400 for four months. I will be required to move out on May 14 or May 15. I’m confident God will make provision at the right time. I am supposed to begin my new job tomorrow. I was supposed to start last Monday, but there was a delay due to the and drug testing. It is only 14 weeks long; It will help me move into the next phase of this journey. I miss my wife (Kai) and children deeply. I ask that you continue to pray for reconciliation. I have no idea how God will do it, though. I know he has the power to do it just as he saved me on the mountain top from -23F. I look at my situation and I see the hand of God. God spared my life. God gave me the perfect apartment. God gave me my teaching salary through the end of April after the contract issue. God gave me DoorDash, which has an enabled me to make $500-$800 a week. God is giving me a temporary job on top of all that that will last 14 weeks. I have read the Psalms 14/15x since 10.9.23. My goal this year is to read the psalms at least once per month. I am about halfway through now. They have done so much to encourage me, uplift me, discipline me, challenge me and teach me. I would highly suggest you begin reading the psalms, if your life is upside down in anyway. Yes, I believe in Jesus with all my heart. Yes, I believe in praying in the name or by the authority of Christ and every prayer. Thank you for praying for me and my situation. Thank you for reading this and thank you for praying for my situation. Please continue to pray that I will have the strength to get up every day and do what I can to move along in this journey.
