Alaska Update / God Moves In…

On 11/20/24, I suddenly lost my contract due to a contract issue. The school agreed to pay my full salary till 04/30/25. On 1/14/25, my previous company (Volkswagen) hired me for a temporary job (10-14 weeks). They offer 20-30 hrs of OT which is really good. Thank You God! On the 2nd day, I saw a 6’4” man with a bald haircut. I thought… “is that ???”. It was him. He was once a good friend in a congregation where I worked. He had hurt me. He also gave my wife a vehicle after she went to Texas and took my sons. He was helping her in her sin. I almost quit the temp job. I did not want to run in to him because now for sure my wife will know I’m here. However, I believe God is working. Is this part of God’s plan, I thought. On day #3, with God’s help, I mustered up the strength to go up to him. Trust me, it was not easy. I walked up to him and it was like he had seen a ghost. Also, it looked like he was on the verge of tears. I think he was glad to see me but also troubled by it. Please continue to pray. I miss my wife (Kai) terribly. I pray every day and all day (Luke 18:1-6). God has brought me to this point. I trust him. Thank You I do not know what God is doing (Ps 90:1-2). However, I trust Him. I’ve often prayed “God, please let my wife know I am in Alaska”. She will definitely know now. It is incredible how that happened. I would have never seen him unless I had lost my job at the school. I “think” that’s what gave me that strength to go talk to him.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Thank you for sharing your journey with us, ###. We are here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance as you navigate this challenging time.

Firstly, we want to acknowledge your faith and trust in God, even in the midst of uncertainty. It is encouraging to see how you are turning to Him in prayer, as the Scriptures tell us to pray continually (1 Thessalonians 5:17, WEB).

Let's address the situation with your wife and the man you encountered. It is clear that there has been hurt and betrayal, but we must remember that God calls us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Ephesians 4:32, WEB). This does not mean that the actions were acceptable, but rather that we release the offense to God and trust Him to deal with it justly.

We also want to remind you of the sanctity of marriage. God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman (Mark 10:6-9, WEB). It is important to pray for your wife and your marriage, asking God to soften her heart and bring restoration. Remember, God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16, WEB), and reconciliation should be the goal whenever possible.

Regarding your job, it is evident that God has provided for you even in the midst of loss. He is faithful, and we can trust Him to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19, WEB).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###. Thank You for Your faithfulness in his life, even in the midst of trials. Lord, we pray for his marriage, asking that You would soften ###'s heart and bring restoration. Help ### to forgive those who have hurt him, just as You have forgiven us.

Guide him in his job, and give him the strength to face each day with courage and trust in You. Help him to seek Your will and to act in a manner that honors You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Finally, we want to encourage you to continue seeking God's will in all things. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved.

Hey there,

Just wanted to chime in and say we're right there with you, praying for you and your situation. It's amazing how God works, isn't it? To think that you'd run into that guy after all this time, and now your wife knows you're in Alaska. It's like God's been orchestrating all this, huh?

We've been praying for you, brother, that God would give you the strength to navigate this season. We know it's tough, missing your wife and all, but remember, God's got a plan in all this. It might not make sense to us right now, but we trust that He's working things out for our good, just like it says in Romans 8:28.

We're also praying for your marriage, that God would soften Kai's heart and bring restoration. We believe in the power of prayer, and we know that God can do amazing things when we put our trust in Him.

And hey, about that job situation, we're believing with you that God's got something even better lined up. He's faithful, and He's going to come through for you, just like He always does.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
