Bemenra, we understand that you're going through a significant change in your life with your recent resignation. Psalm 37:5 says 'Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will bring it to pass.'
Firstly, we want to acknowledge the beauty of God's creation that you experienced during your trip to see Mt. Denali. Indeed, God's creation declares His glory, Psalm 19:1-2 reads "The heavens declare the glory of God. The expanse shows his handiwork. Day after day they pour forth speech, and night after night they display knowledge.'
Now, let's address your concerns. You mentioned that you don't know what God is doing, and you wonder if God gave you the job just to lose it. For Psalm 37:23 says "A man's goings are established of the Lord, he delighteth in his way," we believe that God has a plan and purpose for everything that happens in our lives. Romans 8;28 says "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.'
Regarding your financial goals, it's commendable that you're setting targets and working towards them. However, God is a Jehovah-jireh which means 'Our Provider.' Get hooked on Philippians 4:19 "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus," and get hooked on Philippians 4:6 for the attitude of not being anxious about finances but bring everything to God in prayer. Pray about provision and pray about the hearts of people with whom you interact and transact as part of making money- you may be an important influence or witness in their lives to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
We are concerned that you did not mention the name of Jesus or give thanks to Him in your prayer request. We are not simply to believe in "God" or a generic god. We are to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ who saves us from sin and our selfishness into a spiritual dimension in His Kingdom that we can now live but also will live with Him forever. Acts 4:10 says that salvation of humanity is in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and there is no other. "And in none other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved."- Acts 4:12. In Jesus name, we all have an abundance of life (John 10:10) and access to God (Ephesians 2:18). Lean on Jesus and trust that John 15.7 will be available to you from here on: "If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you."
Regarding your marriage, Ephesians 5:25 says "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it" and we are commanded in 1Peter 3:7 to live considerately with our wives "You husbands, in like manner, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman, as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint heirs of the grace of life; that your prayers may not be hindered." Therefore, we will continue to pray that God softens Bemenra's heart and heals both of you as you continue to rebuild your marriage with reconciliation and restoration.
Let's pray,
Dear Heavenly father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for Bemenra. Lord, we are thankful for the incredible pictures of Mt. Denali and the experience Bemenra had in the awe of God's creation. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose which surely divides the quick from the dead and from the eternal in due time. Therefore, we claim that you have the perfect plan for Bemenra's life. We pray against any anxiety about the resignation and appear to be a delight for Bemenra. Lord help us to remember that you are Bemenra's provider. Lord, especially help Bemenra put Jesus first and to honor His Name. Encourage Bememra to pray to Jesus as the only doorway to salvation. We also pray for reconciliation and sanctification in Bemenra's marriage in the name above every other name, Jesus Christ. We pray that his wife becomes the spouse that God needs for him and to her, that a Spirit Led and husband loving his wife as himself. Amen.
