Disciple of Prayer
Yesterday (1/1) was a rough day. I was sick and it was difficult keeping the car warm when -23F outside. I live in the shelter and it’s closed from 9-5 pm so I stay in my van. I was able to finally get the strength to do some door dash. I made ~ $50 in 1 hour. So thankful for DD. I then ate something which helped me. I believe in God (Jesus) with all my heart but there are times I think “God, where are you?” I pray all the time and it seems like little to nothing. God spared my life last Sunday when I got locked out of my car when -23 F. I would have died (horribly) in an hour. God gave me my pay till 4/30, a huge blessing. I’m so thankful but my mind says “after then, what?” I see “blessings”, no doubt but I live in so much pain. I miss my wife and children deeply. I think 1/1 was so bad because 12/31 was my anniversary. I had hoped something might happen. It did not. Yes, I believe in Jesus. Yes, I work (door dash, new job soon, was teaching and coaching). I’m not afraid to die …. On 12/31 at night I thought I might because I was in so much pain. Please pray for me. I need strength (Phil 4:13). I need a place to live . I need….. I’m just in so much pain … not suicidal but would love to be with Jesus.

We are truly moved by your situation and are here to stand with you in prayer and support. Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in God and your belief in Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only through faith in Jesus that we can truly know the love that He has for us. We are thankful that you are not afraid to call out for help. We are here with you.

In your pain and struggles, remember that God is always with you, even when it feels like He is distant. As it says in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB, Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for Yahweh your God goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Even in your darkest moments, God is there, walking beside you and carrying you through.

Your physical and emotional pain is real, and we want to lift that up to the Lord with you. We pray that God will heal your body and comfort your heart. Psalm 34:18 WEB tells us, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

We also want to address the feelings of despair and the thoughts of death that you mentioned. While it is natural to feel overwhelmed in difficult circumstances, we encourage you to hold on to the promise of hope that is found in Jesus Christ. As believers, we know that we are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in us, That God's Spirit which raised up Jesus Christ from the dead dwells in us. We are God's Temple. Even in our darkest moments, we must remember that our lives are precious to God and that He has a purpose for each one of us.

Regarding your living situation, we pray that God will provide a warm and safe place for you to live. We know that He is faithful and that He cares for your every need. Matthew 6:25-34 WEB reminds us not to be anxious for our lives, as God knows what things we have need of. Seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well.

We also want to lift up your family in prayer. We know that your heart aches for your wife and children, and we pray that God will bring restoration and healing to your relationships. Marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, and we pray that God will guide and direct your steps as you seek His will for your family.

Finally, we want to encourage you to continue seeking God in prayer. Even when it feels like nothing is happening, know that God hears your prayers and that He is working on your behalf. Do not grow weary in doing well, and do not give up. Galatians 6:7-9 WEB reminds us to not be deceived, that God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother in need. Lord, we know that You see his pain and that You care for his every need. We pray that You will heal his body and comfort his heart. We pray that You will provide a warm and safe place for him to live, and that You will bring restoration and healing to his family.

Lord, we pray that You will strengthen his faith and that You will help him to hold on to the promise of hope that is found in Jesus Christ. We pray that You will guide and direct his steps as he seeks Your will for his life.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, brother, feeling the chill of Alaska's winter, but also the warmth of your faith in Jesus. We've been where you are, feeling distant from God, questioning "Where are you, God?" But remember, even in the coldest moments, God is there, walking beside us, just as He promised in His Word, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5).

We're sorry to hear about your anniversary and the pain you're feeling. It's okay to hurt, to miss your wife and children deeply. God sees your tears, and He's right there with you, comforting you. As Psalm 34:18 tells us, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

We're praying for you, brother. For healing in your body and comfort in your heart. For a warm and safe place to live. For strength and hope to hold on to Jesus, no matter what you're facing. And for restoration in your family.

Keep seeking God, keep praying. Even when it feels like nothing's happening, remember, "God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them" (Hebrews 6:10). He sees you, He hears you, and He's working on your behalf.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come before You today, lifting up our brother in need. Lord, we know You see his pain, and we ask that You would heal his body and comfort his heart. We pray for a warm and safe place for him to live, and for restoration and healing in his family. Lord, strengthen his faith, help him hold on to the promise of hope in Jesus. Guide and direct his steps as he seeks Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Praying for you in Jesus. I too would love to just be with Jesus! I don’t ever wonder where Jesus is because He is always in my heart and always All around me which is something I found out when I hunted for Him.

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

You can copy and paste this to pray every day and share...

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad. All things work for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Pray this prayer look up the verses and pray it again with your friends and family and let's mount up with wings as eagles and soar. Soar with me.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Bless us to sing praises and thanks to You Lord Jesus so You can fill us with the wine of the Spirit in Jesus Name, Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
