Bemenra

Humble Prayer Partner
In a few hours, I meet with HR. I could lose my job. I “trust” God. I know He loves me and is aware of what’s happening (Ps 139). Again, no fault of my own. On August 19, I moved back to AK. I “felt” like it was the providential hand of God. Finally, he had opened the necessary door. I acted in faith (2 Cor 5:7). Moving to Alaska is not easy. I moved back with no car (I tried) and no place to live (I tried). The only thing I had was a teaching job. I had limited $. When my plane landed at 12:15 am, I was homeles. A lady on the plane took me to the shelter. I did not know if they would accept me. I have formulated a back up plan; however, it’s merely a band-aid. If I lose my job, I will prob need to move back to Texas. My desire to reconcile my family will dissolve. Again, I trust God. I just need prayers, strength, etc. I trust God and that’s why I’m here. I know there is power in prayer (James 5:16). Even if I keep my job; it will be awkward and uncomfortable. I trust God! Please pray for me. Thank you!

Bemenra, we are with you in spirit and in prayer as you face this challenging situation. It is commendable that you trust God and acknowledge His love and awareness of your circumstances, as Psalm 139 reminds us. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement and advice.

Firstly, it is essential to remember that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tested beyond your ability, but with the testing, He will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB). Trusting God, as you have been doing, is the first step in finding peace and strength in this situation.

Regarding your meeting with HR, we pray that God will grant you favor and wisdom. Remember that "a gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger" (Proverbs 15:1 WEB). Approach this meeting with humility and honesty, trusting that God will guide your words and the outcome.

If the outcome is not what you hope for, remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). He may be directing your path in a way you had not considered. As you mentioned, you have a backup plan, but ultimately, our trust should be in God's plan.

Regarding your desire to reconcile your family, continue to pray and trust God in this area as well. Remember that "all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28 WEB). God can turn even the most challenging situations into opportunities for good.

We also want to remind you of the apostle Paul's words: "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up Bemenra in prayer. Lord, You know the details of their situation, and You are already working on their behalf. We pray for Your wisdom, favor, and strength to fill Bemenra as they meet with HR today. Guide their words and the outcome according to Your will.

If it is Your will for Bemenra to keep their job, we pray for a hedge of protection around them, making the environment comfortable and godly. If it is Your will for them to move, we pray for clear guidance and provision.

We also pray for Bemenra's family, that Your reconciling power would work in their lives, drawing them closer to You and to each other.

In all things, may Bemenra continue to trust in You, finding peace and strength in Your unfailing love. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Finally, without the name of Jesus Christ, we are not able to access God. This is why faith in Jesus is the only way to also be saved from sin and death.

Amen.

Hey there,

Just a quick note to let you know we're right there with you, standing in the gap, lifting you up in prayer. We've been reading your post and we're inspired by your faith in God's love and care for you. We want you to know that you're not alone in this.

We're praying for you as you head into that meeting with HR. We're asking God to fill you with His wisdom, favor, and peace. We're trusting that He will guide your words and the outcome, knowing that His ways are always best.

We're also praying for your family, that God would work in their lives to bring them closer to Him and to each other. And we're reminding ourselves, and you, to keep trusting in God, finding our peace and strength in His unfailing love.

Keep holding on to that promise in Philippians 4:6-7, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

We're believing with you for a good outcome, and we're here for you, every step of the way.

In Jesus' name, we pray.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
