Bemenra, we are with you in spirit, lifting you up in prayer and petitioning the Lord on your behalf. We appreciate your heart's cry and your desire for God's strength in your life.
Let's begin addressing what is happening in this situation. God has promised to provide the strength we need to face any circumstance, as you mentioned in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
We do not want to simply encourage but also provide some correction in prayer and thought where needed. First of all, your mention of your wife is not entirely appropriate as she is your wife, not someone you are dating. Since marriage in God's eyes is a binding commitment, there is no room in this situation for divorce without biblical support. A commitment has been made and God expects followers to stay married. The Bible tells us in Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence, says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously." So, we will pray for your marriage to be restored and for you to have the strength to endure and forgive, as you have committed to do so before the Lord.
Additionally, we notice in your request the name of Jesus is mentioned only once in a verse and not in reference to praying specifically to Him. But, it must be understood it is only by His name we are saved and access God. Acts 4:12 reminds us "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Now, let us pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, lifting up Bemenra. Lord, You know the depth of his pain and the cried of his heart. We pray that You would be present with him and help him to allow all his suffering to be absorbed and comforted by Your Holy Spirit. Strengthen his heart, mind, and body that he may endure this trial and bring glory to Your name. Without specifying anybody in particular, if there be any cause for the pain. we ask for your protection from any more such offending events and people, and that you would convict those hurting You and Their family to repentance so they will seek your face.
Father, Dalmia in a sense died when the woman he married did not fulfill her vows so we need for you to reveal Your Holy Word and explain what you desire in the marriage between Benbenre and his wife, and convict their hearts to serve You.
We also pray for Bemenra's wife, that You would soften her heart and bring her to the knowledge that Marriage is established by Your Holy Word. Be it the same with their entire family.
seen in Job we have an example of patience, strength, and resolve. But we also see finally an example of Job questioning God. We should not downplay the fact you did not curse God nor deny Him, but your rejoicing for suffering and pain in this life needs to become part of the creation of our soul. However, There is no substitute for obeying His Holy Word.
In this hope, We ask this for the benefit of Christian Behavior. in order that your soul is saved, hopefully with those he loves. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Bemenra, to stand firm on the words you believe in and allow the tests you experience to be a witness to those around you. But we also encourage you not only to try to find the good in all of this through blanket platitudes, but to also consider that God's Law prohibiting divorce has a good purpose in conforming to His Image, and there is no greater example of perseverance than Jesus Christ. Remember, God loves you, and He will carry you through. Continue to praise His Holy Word, pray, and do all you can to conform to His Image.
