Disciple of Prayer
Agree with me in prayer please Dear Heavenly Father, I come before you with gratitude for your Word that guides and enlightens my path. I lift up every student in my classes, seeking Your divine understanding, wisdom, and discernment. May Your promise in Proverbs 2:6 come to life in their hearts: 'For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.' Let Psalm 119:130 be a beacon, 'The unfolding of your words gives light; it imparts understanding to the simple.' Grant them discernment, as Philippians 1:9-10 says, 'And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent.' Strengthen them with the truth of Hebrews 5:14, 'But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.' As they study, let them be reminded of James 1:5: 'If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.' May they not only hear but do, guided by James 1:22, 'But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.' And let their foundation be on Your teachings, as in Matthew 7:24: 'Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.' Lord, empower these students to apply these principles in their lives, and let Your Word transform them. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
