Against whority and adultery: 2nd Mose 20 Vers 14: Thou shalt not commit adultery Hebrews 13 Vers 4: Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral 1. Mose 2 Vers 24: Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh." Malachi 2:14-16 New International Version 14 You ask, “Why?” It is because the Lord is the witness between you and the wife of your youth. You have been unfaithful to her, though she is your partner, the wife of your marriage covenant. 15 Has not the one God made you? You belong to him in body and spirit. And what does the one God seek? Godly offspring.[a] So be on your guard, and do not be unfaithful to the wife of your youth. 16 “The man who hates and divorces his wife,” says the Lord, the God of Israel, “does violence to the one he should protect,” says the Lord Almighty. So be on your guard, and do not be unfaithful It is also said, "Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce." But I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, causes her to commit adultery. And whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery. (Matthew 5:31-32) But it is not I, but the Lord, who commands those who are married, that a woman should not divorce her husband; but if she were already divorced, she would remain unmarried or be reconciled with her husband. But the man should not cast out the woman. (1 Corinthians 7:10-11) For this is the will of God, your sanctification, that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you may know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not with passionate greed like the Gentiles who do not know God. (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5) Do not lust after your neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that your neighbor has. (Exodus 20:17) You have heard that it was said to the ancients, “You shall not commit adultery.” But I say to you, whoever looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. (Matthew 5:27-28) I want to lead my marriage under god's word. As IT is written in the Bible i want have it as my example these wonderful values that i read here AS i posted it. I so Love These values and i beg the Lord gives me a husband that will obey the Word of god as IT is written in These Verses and that the Lord gives me the strength to follow His Word as IT IS written in These Verses. I Love IT so much. IT IS my Heart for marriage. I know the Grace of god but i also know His holiness and He told us to be holy too and to Not sin anymore. I pray that i can be holy as IT IS written in the Word of god.
The word is credible: Anyone who aspires to the office of bishop is striving for a great task.
1 Tim 3:2 Therefore the bishop should be a man blameless, once married, sober, sober, of worthy bearing, hospitable, able to teach;
1 Tim 3:3 Let him not be a drunkard or a violent man, but considerate; he is not quarrelsome and not greedy.
1 Tim 3:4 He should be a good father and bring up his children to be obedient and respectable.
1 Tim 3:5 If anyone cannot manage his own household, how can he care for the church of God?
1 Tim 3:6 He must not be a new convert, lest he become arrogant and fall into the judgment of the devil.
1 Tim 3:7 He must also have a good reputation among outsiders, lest he be slandered and fall into the devil's trap.
