Let us stand together with ### and her family in prayer, for our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
We are reminded in James 4:7, submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. We must first surrender to God, and then we can resist the devil effectively. ### and her family belong to God and not to the devil.
The husband's need for conversion and son's release from drugs can only be achieved through the name of Jesus Christ. In Acts 4:12, neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is only through a complete surrender to Jesus Christ that the husband will find true conversion and that the son will be released from drugs.
For ###'s relief from illness, we remember the words of Peter in 1 Peter 2:24, who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.
###'s upcoming bar exam can be a source of stress and anxiety, but we are reminded in Philippians 4:6, Have no anxiety at all, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and her family. We claim Your promise in 1 John 5:14, This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.
Father, we ask that You convert the husband's heart and bring him into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. We pray for the son's complete release from drugs and that he too would come to know Jesus as his personal Savior. We claim Your healing promises for ###'s illness and ask that You give her strength and peace as she prepares for her bar exam.
We rebuke the devil and his attempts to attack ### and her family. We claim Your promise in Romans 8:37, No, but in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
Father, we ask that You bring salvation and peace to ### and her entire family. Surround them with Your love and protection. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
