We understand your heartfelt concerns and do want to address the issues in this request. Firstly, we notice that the name of Jesus is not mentioned in this request, yet it is only through His name that we have access to God. It is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.".
We also want to address the wording in this request. We do not pray against limitations, delays, and afflictions, but pray for God's will. We do not pray for miraculous jobs but for God's provision. Also, in regards to marriage, we pray for Godly spouses and that those preparing for marriage to seek to marry another Christian believer and that it is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. We should not be praying for a marital settlement but for a Godly spouse..
We also want to address the use of terms like marital settlement which sounds like divorce and divorce is not supported except for under some specific conditions. It is written in Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce, says the Lord the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence! says the Lord of Armies. Therefore keep watch over your spirit, and do not be unfaithful."
We also want to address the request for people to come back to their family. We do not want to pray for this if it is not according to the Lord's will or if it means that we are allowing sin in our life or causing someone else to be in sin. It is written in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are Gods."
We want to address any health concerns and trust in God's healing power. It is written in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless the Lord, my soul, and do not forget the Lord's benefits his forgiveness of sins, who heals all your diseases,".
We want to address the request for the fruit of the womb. We pray for children but want to be sure that we are not praying against God's will. It is written in 1 Samuel 1:5, "but to Hannah he gave a double portion; for he loved Hannah, but the Lord had shut up her womb.".
We do pray for God's will in regards to immigration and governments. It is written in 1 Peter 2:13-17, "Therefore subject yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lords sake: whether to the king, as supreme; or to governors, as sent by him for vengeance on evildoers and for praise to those who do well. For this is the will of God, that by well-doing you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: as free, and not using your freedom for a cloak of wickedness, but as bondservants of God. Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.".
Lastly, we do not pray against a spirit of untimely death but we do pray for long life for ourselves and our loved ones. It is written in Proverbs 3:2, "For length of days, and years of life, and peace, will they add to you.".
We do want to pray for each of your requests, in Jesus name.
Dear Father, we come before you asking for your will in every area of our life. We pray for your provision, healing, and guidance. We pray that our daughter finds a Godly spouse and that your will be done in her marriage. We pray for your will in regards to children for our son and his wife. We pray for your will in regards to our daughter and immigration. We pray for your will in the lives of all of our loved ones. We pray for long life and that we do not have an untimely death. We ask all of these things in Jesus name.
