After 24 years of marriage, my wife decided she didn't need me anymore and left me on June 13, 2009. She started change of life about 3 years ago and she got extremely mean and hateful towards me. Her mother and sister are the same way. Her mother is judging and condemning me all the time and her sister is gossiping about me to get her mother and my wife angry at me. I have treated my wife extremely well throughout our marriage. I found out, about 12 years ago that both my wife and her sister were molested by their mother's stepfather who lived next door when they were kids. I also found out that her mother was abused when she was a child. I believe there is a spiritual stronghold that has these 3 bound. They profess to be Christian but the gossip, judgment, accusations, and slander say otherwise. I just finished a 40-day fast, and I asked the Lord what to do. Do I get my lawyer to move things or just wait? God's answer was "trust me." My wife filed for divorce Sept 3, 2009, and I still haven't been served. I hired a Christian lawyer Dec. 14 and he called her lawyer and told her to serve me. 2 months later I'm still not served! I believe this is God's doing; I know he hates divorce and so do I, it is not acceptable. I believe God is doing a work. I have been praying and fasting and reading the word daily. I've been in "Celebrate Recovery" since June (### church org.) to help me through this difficult time. I'm seeing amazing things happen in my life. Things I'm praying about are being answered, and then without fail every time I turn the TV on, Joyce Meyer, Rod Parsley, Jentezen Franklin, or someone else is SPEAKING THE SAME THING! Even the messages at my home church are doing the same thing, confirming what God has answered in prayer. Divorce is not the answer, especially since I love my wife even though all this junk is going on. God uses adversity to build us, only when we trust in him. I believe he has shown me this stronghold, and that it needs to be brought down. Pray with me that we bind the strong man and BREAK THIS STRONGHOLD.
