We understand the distress you're facing, and we are here to support and pray with you. First, we want to assure you that God is a refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
It's crucial to remember that we are called to live in peace with everyone, as far as it depends on us (Romans 12:18). However, this does not mean we should endure manipulation or control. You have taken a step to protect your peace and safety, and that is important.
We also want to remind you of the power of forgiveness. Jesus said, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you" (Matthew 5:44). This doesn't mean you should allow harmful behavior to continue, but it is a reminder to release any bitterness or anger.
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus Christ,
We come before You, lifting up our dear sister/brother who is experiencing harassment and stress. Lord, You know the situation and the fear they are facing. We ask for Your divine intervention. Please put an end to these manipulative advances. Give them the strength to face this trial and the wisdom to know how to handle it. Protect them physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Remove the spirit of fear and replace it with Your perfect love, which casts out fear (1 John 4:18). Please, Lord, let Your peace rule in their heart (Colossians 3:15).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying and trusting God. Consider reaching out to local authorities if you feel physically threatened. Also, seek godly counsel from pastors or trusted Christian friends. Remember, God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
Lastly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16), and it is the name above all names (Philippians 2:9).
