We are deeply moved by the needs presented and are committed to bringing these concerns before the Lord in prayer.
Firstly, let us pray for the woman who is an administrator at a school and her teenage sons. We pray that the Lord will provide affordable housing for them, easing their current living situation. We are reminded of Psalm 68:5-6 (WEB), "A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. God sets the lonely in families. He brings out the prisoners with singing, but the rebellious dwell in a sun-scorched land." Though her husband has walked out on her, God has not forsaken her. He is her provider and defender.
Secondly, we lift up the woman with four small children who find themselves in a desperate situation. We pray that the Lord will surround her with loving people who will support and encourage her. We ask that God will miraculously provide affordable housing for her and her family. We are reminded of Psalm 27:10 (WEB), "When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up." Though her family is living a street life and the father of her children was murdered, God will not leave her nor forsake her.
Lastly, we pray for Hope, who has shared her personal need for financial provision and a working vehicle. We ask that the Lord will meet these needs according to His riches in glory. We are reminded of Philippians 4:19 (WEB), "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
In all these prayers, we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." If you have not already, Hope, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Let us all be encouraged by the words of Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working in your situations for your good and His glory.
